Welcome to St. Cuthbert's Hall, a beautiful 19th century Norman-style church building with plenty of history. Situated in the heart of Bedford, two minutes walk from the town centre, it is perfect for regular group bookings and children's birthday parties. When we have finished our refurbs it will be available for evening private functions, parties and weddings.
St Cuthbert's Hall comprises of a large downstairs hall with disabled access at the rear of the building and a disabled bathroom. There are 2 further bathrooms on the ground floor.
The main hall is great for exercise classes, drama or music rehearsals as well as children's birthday parties. We have been updating the hall and soon it will be available for weddings and evening parties. There will be a wheelchair accessible stage available for events.
Our bar is fully wheelchair accessible with a lowered bar area. We have a small kitchen available to hire alongside the main hall.
Upstairs there is a beautiful airy room perfect for smaller groups, training or meetings.
We have tables and seating to suit all needs as well as free wi-fi. We also have flipcharts, projectors and tea making facilities available for a small additional price.
2020 saw the start of the whole building undertaking full refurbishment including new kitchen, bar, flooring, bathroom, better heating, fire alarm, improved stage lighting and sound and re decoration throughout. We are nearly there and soon will be open to hire for evening functions.
We have some availability for regular or one-off hire Monday - Thursday evenings, Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday day time. We are currently not taking bookings for evening parties.
